This stage project examines the semantics of a circus performer girl by means of a gesture-like lecture performance.
Dramaturgy and movements are conceived with regard to acoustic composition criteria: e.g., the composer creates a composition based on the sounds and noises produced during the acting-out of the movement. The circus performer re-translates and creates the acoustic composition by restudying and transforming her movement series. There is a video recording to serve as a means of re-structuring und re-translation. The composer uses the cut in the sound track (regardless of the visual representation and of the movements of the circus performer), simultaneously leaving behind a cut in the image plane and re-composing the sequence of movements during the montage of the sound, i.e. the acoustic composition. This is represented by the movement score for the circus performer. The acoustic composition becomes audible.
